Check out our writing blog to see all the wonderful things we have written about our trip to Te Papa on Wednesday. You can even leave a comment about our writing!
Yesterday the Year 3's went to Te Papa to learn about a powhiri which is a welcome onto a marae. We looked at a marae, an entrance way to a maori village (waharoa), some greenstone (pounamu) and learnt some new maori words: wero means challenge and koha means gift.
