How is our garden going?

On Tuesday Room 8 decided it was time to harvest our vegetables! We have lots of spinach, silverbeet and italian parsley. Now we have to decide what to do with it all....

This term and next we are going to
grow some plants from seed in our classroom and then plant them in our section of the Year 3/4 garden.
Watch this space!

Room 8 Garden

Some of you may have noticed that our vege patch is coming along nicely.
This afternoon we pulled out some of our rolly polly carrots to see how they were going, we cut some of our rainbow silverbeet and spinach and we even tasted some of our herbs!
Unfortunately, our purple cauliflower has big holes in their leaves from white butterflies. We are on the look out for ideas to keep those butterflies away!
