Green-gold celebration

On Friday Muritai School was awarded the green-gold award for enviro-schools. We had a fabulous day starting with a powhiri to welcome visitors from around the community and the country. We then went into the hall for some great student speeches and a performance by our amazing kapa haka group. We then ended the day with a delicious hangi lunch! We were very lucky to have parents and whanau group members to help prepare and serve the food to us. It was a very exciting day! Take a look at some of the photos from the celebrations...
